Light up family photographs to create a striking wall display

Here's how to get the look:

  • Create a gallery, and add some light to a gloomy corner, by fitting a picture light to illuminate family photos

  • Mount pictures on wallpaper left over from the chimneypiece, then hang them in a plain alcove

  • Arrange the pictures in a grid formation for a big impact
